Fashion Camp runs After-School Enrichment Programs at over 25 Schools in Orange County- we’d love to be at yours! Connect with our After School Programs Coordinator, Kirstin Flores, at email@example.com to learn more.
The Fashion Camp After School Enrichment Program is a creative learning program centered around fashion design, creating, and sewing. All materials are included and experience is not necessary.
Fashion Design Session
We offer a creative learning experience for the student interested in fashion and design. Students will learn the basics of hand sewing, and apply what they learn to a project (or two). We’ll also offer a lesson in fashion illustration, and offer some fun, “Project Runway” style challenges. We’ll bring sewing machines for a class as well, so kids get the chance to complete one small project on them. (Some projects subject to change based on number of weeks in program).
Sewing Basics Session
We will bring our Sewing 101 Curriculum to the After School Programs! Classes will be limited, so register early! The classes will be 1.5-2 hours in length. We will teach the basics of the sewing machine, tracing and cutting patterns, and then students will complete a project using the sewing machine. (Some projects subject to change based on number of weeks in program).
